Include/Extract files in the cloud

To perform these procedures, the CloudBerry Explorer tool is required, available at this link. Download it as described on the website.

Note: The procedure can be performed with the FREE version; purchasing the PRO version is not required.
The following data will be provided by McFile Support:
  • Name of the "folder" that will receive the files or where the files were sent
  • Access Key
  • Secret Key
After installing CloudBerry Explorer, follow these steps:
1 - Create a "New Amazon S3 account," as shown in the image below:

2 - Fill in the keys provided by McFile Support when creating the new account. Also, enter a "display name", which is a free text field used to name this new account. Click "Ok.".

3 - On the system's home screen, select the new account under "Source".

4 - Create a new "External Bucket" using the folder name sent by McFile Support.

5 - Now, you can perform two procedures:
  • Copying extracted files to the desired destination: Drag files from the left side to the right side.
  • Including files in the cloud: Drag files from the right side to the left side.
