Restricted areas

Every record registered on McFile requires a mandatory association with a Restricted Area.

Restricted Areas act as content vaults within the platform. A user will only have visibility and access to content registered in the Restricted Areas for which they have permission.

Although a document can belong to only one Restricted Area, a user may view and/or edit documents in several areas. Access to these areas is managed by the system administrator, who defines the specific permissions for each user.

Whenever a new user is added to a Restricted Area you are a member of, all other member users of that area are automatically notified via e-mail.
