Using Temporality Flow

The temporality flow controls the permanence of files in the system, notifying you when the retention period comes to an end. This process ensures that the disposal of expired items occurs in an organized manner and under your supervision.

Expired file management

The system centralizes files with expired or nearing-expiration deadlines in a dedicated workspace. This organization allows you to review each item before confirming final deletion or choosing to keep it.
1. Access the link sent via email to be directed to the list of pending tasks.
2. Locate the file name in the first column of the table and click on it to view the associated document.
3. Click on the corresponding row to open the task details and check complementary information about the document.
4. Analyze the displayed data and choose from the available options:
  • Delete: Removes the file from the system.
  • Keep: Preserves the file in the system.

Note that choosing the Keep option does not change the file's expiration date. It remains registered in the system with the same temporality status, and it will be necessary to manage it again in the future.

Accessing the general task menu

It is also possible to access the list of pending tasks directly through the navigation menu.
1. Access the McFile tasks page by clicking on Tasks in the navigation menu.
2. In the tasks section, choose the item Delete file.
