Performing searches with system filters

So you don't waste time searching, McFile has several search filters that help you find exactly what you need.

By date

You can choose a preset period (such as "Today" or "Last month") or enter a specific start and end date.

By creator

Here you can choose to see only documents created by yourself, a specific team member, or a group.

By module

If you know the file belongs to a specific record type, this filter allows you to search only for that type.

Status filters

These allow you to search for active or inactive records, those with or without attachments, as well as those that have been followed (marked with a Star).

Search in file content

The search looks for the desired text directly within the content of files attached to the system, highlighting the matching terms found in yellow.

Only files with text content (such as Microsoft 365, e-mail, PDF with OCR, and TXT) have their content indexed, allowing for searches within the file content.
